Community Engagement Program
LaGrange D102 is at a crossroads, facing challenges that we, as a community, must address together. We need your help to develop plans to improve our schools, ensuring our students have adequate, accessible and safe schools in which to learn.
This fall, we launched Renew D102, a community-led effort to bring the entire D102 community together to develop goals and priorities to improve our schools and plan for the future. The program includes community workshops on Oct. 15 and 29, building tours in November and an online community survey (also in November).
Participants will be involved in helping the district make important decisions about topics such as shifting to a 6–8 middle school model, expanding our early childhood options and determining what elementary school updates should be completed.
Information on each community workshop will be shown below after each workshop is completed.
