Goal 1: Instructional Programming: Achievement & Growth

The district will provide instructional programming that meets the needs of all students, promotes high standards and results, and ensures the growth of all students. Selecting programs of study, and assessment tools, and providing adequate resources are all critical elements of the district’s focus on learning for all.

Objective 1

To ensure Middle School and High School readiness, implement a culturally responsive, standards aligned, evidence-based curriculum in all core subject areas that offers assessment, support and enrichment opportunities for all students.

  • Strategy 1 - Research, pilot and implement an LA curriculum by SY 2025-26

  • Strategy 2 - Develop and implement a curriculum review and renewal cycle in all core content areas to be completed before 2030.

  • Strategy 3 - Explore, create and implement additional during school curricular opportunities and electives for enrichment, support and growth.

Objective 2 - To ensure Middle School and High School readiness, develop and adopt age-appropriate practices and procedures that prepare students to understand and be accountable for their own learning. 

  • Strategy 1 - Establish a D102 committee to review, revise and implement common grading/reporting practices for ES and MS by SY 2025
