I am excited and honored to introduce myself as the Dean of Students at Park Junior High beginning in the 24-25 school year. This is my ninth year as a resource teacher in District 102 and my second year as the Lead Special Educator at Park. I am thrilled to continue my career with such a dedicated and exceptional staff who are genuinely passionate about their students’ growth and well-being.
As I step into this role, I look forward to building relationships with students, faculty, and parents, fostering open communication, and building trust with all stakeholders. Creating a safe, inclusive learning environment where students are inspired to grow and reach their full potential is a top priority of mine.
On a personal level, I grew up in central Indiana. However, my husband is a native of LaGrange Park. I am passionate about driving my youngest to Irish dance class or competition, driving back and forth to Marquette University, the Chicago Blackhawks (winning or losing), and indulging in vanilla ice cream.
As I embark on this new journey, please know my door is always open. I am excited about this new role and can’t wait to contribute to the continued success of Park Junior High.
