About Park PTC

About Us:

The Park Junior High School (Park) Parent Teacher Council (PTC) is the official parent-teacher organization of Park and is open to all Park parents. The Park PTC sponsors several events throughout the year, supports teacher-driven initiatives and offers scholarships to graduating LT seniors who previously attended Park. Membership in the PTC is $20 per year, per family.

Purpose of the PTC

  • Provide lines of communication between home and school.

  • Enrich our children's educational experience by providing supplementary equipment and program funding through money raised at various PTC fundraising events.

  • Foster a healthy family environment within the community through various social activities.

Email, Dues, and Volunteer Opportunities:

Dues are $20/family + SUG fees. To join the PTC you can pay PTC dues by clicking HERE. The Park PTC is a volunteer-run organization. We rely on parent support to organize and chaperone our events. Many volunteer roles are available! Click HERE for the SUG link for current, open PTC board positions and committees.

Park PTC Meetings:

The Park PTC meets at Park on the 1st Monday of every month at 4 pm. In case of inclement weather, the meeting will be a virtual meeting via Zoom or Microsoft Teams.

Volunteer Opportunities

Financials

Financials are reviewed at the end of each fiscal year. Over the summer, the Executive Committee along with the Treasurer for the upcoming school year develop the new Budget. This Budget is discussed and approved at the first meeting of the PTC General Membership in the fall.

Fundraising

Park PTC holds several fundraisers each year to fund curriculum and teacher support, assemblies, activities, and events.
