Spring conferences will be taking place on Friday, March 4th during the hours of 11 am - 6 pm via Zoom, although teachers may not be available for all 7 hours. (Please note that school will NOT be in session for this day) This letter will review the purpose of the conferences and the process that will be used to schedule these conferences.
Conferences will be scheduled through a two-step process. Initially, any of your child’s teachers may request to meet with you to address any opportunities for growth as well as ways that you may support your child’s learning at home. Some teachers may schedule team conferences in place of individual teacher conferences. Additionally, support teachers may join a team conference or schedule their own conferences. All families will be notified by Monday, February 21st if teachers are requesting a conference. Priority will be given to teacher-requested conferences when scheduling. It is important to note that there is not an expectation of every family having or needing a conference at this time.
After that date, families who have not been contacted by the teacher may request a conference as time permits in the schedule. Times will be available on a first-come, first-served basis. As has always been the case, families should feel free to contact any of their child’s teachers to meet with them or speak with them over the phone if they have any questions or concerns. Please begin making your conference requests after Monday, February 21st, by emailing the teacher. In order to accommodate everyone's requests, please reach out to your teacher by March 2nd. A conference sign-up system will not be used for spring conferences.
