Congress Park Dolphin Newsletter

Dear Congress Park Community,

Weโ€™ve made it to the long-awaited Spring Break! This is a well-deserved time to relax, recharge, and enjoy time with family. We hope you have a wonderful break filled with fun and rest. When we return, weโ€™ll be gearing up for an exciting finish to the school year.

5Essentials Parent Survey: This is a reminder that the 2025 5Essentials Parent Survey is open. The survey window will close today, so please take a moment to complete it before the deadline.

Currently, our parent response rate is 19%. Schools need at least 20% of parents to respond in order to receive a report. Your feedback is essential in helping improve our school community!

Take the survey here: https://survey.5-essentials.org/illinois/?target_name=parent&p=1

Thank you for your time and participation!

A Message for our 6th Grade Families from Dr. Green:Passport to Park will be held on Thursday, May 15th from 6:30 PM-8:00 PM.

Passport to Park will be an Open House style night where next year's 7th Graders and their families can check out our school, learn about our programs, and hear about our various sports and activities from current Park students and staff members. Participants will receive a passport-themed list of scavenger hunt questions/clues that can be completed and turned in for a raffle at the end of the night. Teachers will display department/team videos from the classroom perspective throughout the building.

Representatives from the Park PTC look forward to sharing information about membership, Park Spiritwear for sale, and they'll have their legendary Ice Cream Bar available (...think of lots of fudge and sprinkles!) .

We look forward to meeting you that evening!

Kind regards,

Amy Grieve
